Insanity Day 17 - Focus and Push

Hope everyone had excellent weekend? Mine as always was filled with loads of positivity. I apologies for late post. However this is because my net is down. Virgin are coming over tomorrow to fix it. So I am posting off my tablet connected to my personal hotspot.

Insanity Day 16 - Dedication pays off

Good Morning World, Good Morning Universe

What a lovely sunny Sunday morning it is. No excuses to workout, right? Coming to the end of week three and my god I am loving every workout. I feel myself getting stronger and I can see the improvements.

Insanity Day 15 - No Excuses Are Acceptable

Good Morning World, Good Morning Universe

Today I start my workout extremely late. I had only got about 5 hours sleep. I was out last night helping a friend go through some emotional stuff they have been feeling. Its heartbreaking stuff so I broken my schedule to be their for them.

I did not let this stop me from doing my workout today. 

Today was cardio recovery day so that' was good.Its not long session and It's more about helping the body strengthen and recover then pushing your limits.

The Insanity workout covers a lot of factors over the two month period, besides my own personalised workouts I found that only the Insanity workout works well for me just far.

What a lovely sunny morning today. It feels great to be fully back on schedule. Never let setbacks stop you from moving forward. I might have taken one step back but I've taken three steps forward.

Insanity Day 12 - Apologies, Fit Test and recommits

First let me start off with apologies. I never like to apologies for anything because I should have never, put myself in a position, where I would have too. However I seem to be putting myself into these situations, over and over again. This will change, it has too.
So for the last three days I haven't done a full workout (insanity) and I personally feel that 'week three, day 1' fitness test wasn't to my best abilities. However that being said their are improvements in some of the results. So my next fitness test, I want to surpass all my results just far.  
I stated in my last post, that the next following day I would post two 'feature pictures' to make up for the day I missed. However becuase I missed a second day and yesterday was my day off. I have now made four features, I hope everyone likes them.

Insanity Day 11 - Failure

Evening World, Evening Universe.

Today was a completely failure in terms of doing my measurements and doing my insanity workout.

I went out Saturday night and had amazing time. I was out with one of my best friends and his old work stuff. The place we went to was called North pole, which is around the corner from Greenwich DLR station. 

I ended up, crashing at my friends house that night, so wasn't able to do my workout in the morning. I then had planned to do it later today. However I only recently got in.

This doesn't mean I am going to fall off track. In fact I am going to get back on track with improved focus and dedication. I wanted to go out and this is the price I paid. It wasn't scheduled so I hadn't planned a workout around it. 

Today's 'Feature Pictures' will be posted tomorrow so you will be expecting two, apologies. However I did update my facebook album with a few photo's I found today.

The rest of the day I spent helping my mate painting his room. It was so much fun, painting is very soothing and a great way to blow off stress. A few other friends came over and helped. We all made a day out of it. 

After finishing we went out for a good meal at Frank and Benny's.   

Tomorrow is another day, I can't wait.

Insanity Day 9 - Becareful What You Eat and Drink

Morning World, Morning Universe.
First I would like to apologies because I forgot to type my morning greeting in yesterdays post.

Yesterday was my day off but I still did my workout. I usually prefer to have my rest days on my days off (from work). However as the Insanity workout involves working out six days out of the week, there will be at less one day that will clash. 

Yesterday I went out and had some amazing Korean BBQ food and to top it off it was all half price.^_^ I must write a blog about this place later, *NOTE TO SELF* I believe that how much I ate yesterday including my dinner in the evening affected my (Gut) measurement results (as you can see below). However the workouts and generally eating pretty clean has increased my metabolism, check out my morning 'Before Workout' results.

Insanity Day 8 Why do I workout? hmm

So its the second workout day of week two and I am feeling fantastic. Really couldn't go without a workout without feeling crap. When you have this feeling in place you can only move forward, you don't have to be that person that falls off track unless you truly want to be.

Insanity Day 6 Rest and Day 7 Excitement

Morning World, Morning Universe. 

Woo, feels great to be typing this again after missing one day of posting. 

If you were wondering why there was no post yesterday it's becuase it was my rest day. I decided to fade off the planet and catch up on my TV-Shows. Also to enjoy the last day of COD: Black Ops 2 Double EXP weekend, which was still running becuase it's based on US time and they're almost a day behind us.

A good friend of mine, PM'ed me on my rest day. He was telling me that they have been enjoying my daily posts. It keeps him motivated and pumped for his workouts. This really touched me and I really appreciated his words. If I inspire just one person to push harder or believe they can achieve more than what they thought they could, it's all worth it. 

Today was amazing, I was completely pumped and ready to go after my rest day. I am seeing and feeling the changes and its so uplifting. Stick in their everyone because when you start to seeing and feeling the same you will start to wonder why you never did this before.

Insanity Day 5 - Always Pushing Maximum Effort.

Wow, the first week of insanity over. I pushed it really hard today and I can already see the difference. However don't be discourage if your working out and don't see changes straight away. 

Everyone's body developments differently and I have been working out on and off for long time now. I have developed some good lean muscle so I tend to see affects more quickly, when I start working out again after a period of not working out.

Insanity Day 4 Pure Cardo, Pure Focus

Morning World,  Morning Universe is what I wanted to say as normal with these posts. However I started this morning but couldn't finish without being late for work. 

What an amazing Sunday it has been so far. Where all still here so no excuses not to make the most of the day like you should everyday and that amazing workout on.

Yesterday I had a cheat day (when it came down to eating) and broke one of my New Years Revolutions in the process. Although I have pretty much broken nearly all of them anyway, still not an excuse mind though.

Insanity Day 2 - Getting into it.

Good morning Universe.

Day 2 of the insanity workout. So excited, I know i have done this all before but it's so exhilarating I can't wait till the next day. That's the feeling you should always have about working out no matter what kind of workout your following or doing.

Whoop look at the difference and only after 2 days. believe me 1-2cm is massive difference and still 7 weeks to go.

Insanity Day 1 - Curses with Love.

So finished my Day 1 Inanity this morning and it felt great although I was dying during the workout.

Shaun T must be the most beloved but also hated man in the world. I swear I have never cursed so much at one person but its all with love.

So my monitoring status today are as follows:

and I actually forgot to check what the results were at the end of the day but I will forsure being doing it today and it will get highlighted in my morning working post the following day.

Insanity Fitness Test - A New Beginning, Again.

So yesterday I FAILED but I didn't surrender. I have never been a quitter but I admit I have been a slacker and I am sure we can all admit to this fact, one time or another. 

Today I did day 1, the fitness Test and here is how I did:

Switch Kicks: 104

Power Squats: 55

Left Knee Pumps/Raises: 105

Power Jumps: 15

 Global Jumps: 6

Suicide Jumps: 20 

Push-Up Jacks: 33

Low Plank Obliques: 40

 
As my main focus at the moment is legs and abs what better workout is there then the Insanity Workout that is cardio based that focus on sculpting your body.

The monitors I have set in place to measure my progress is using a simple measuring tape to measure my gut. I measure it relaxed and tighten. Write down both before workout and then again after workout to see if there was any progress. However I plan to do one at the end of the day as well to see the effects of what I have been doing and eating has affected my body.

Day 1 Insanity FAIL!, but workout SUCCESS!!

Day one of the Insanity workout and I have already woken up late. LOL need to stop falling asleep in front of netflixs. Why they have to added Kevin Sorbo Andromeda and Hercules my childhood beloved fantasy programs I couldn't live without. Grr. . . Well at less I have almost finish watching all of Andromeda LOL.

So after messing about trying upload all of insanity to my tablet and failing and having old crappy laptop that takes forever to power up I had to give up on doing Insanity this morning due to time. I still have to get ready and make it to work on time.

However does that mean that I don't workout? and fail the whole day? HELL NO!! is the correct answer.

I did a 50 pushups, followed by a 15minute run and then 25 jumping squats. Not the hardest of workouts but it felt great.

The Last Two Weeks

So everyone, what have I been up too over the last two weeks? Where do I start? Hmm . .
Well today I got my haircut and I feel so fresh. I know I just left out almost two weeks worth of information but I am going to cover that below. Just wanted to show everyone how fly I am looking. LOL

VAIN? Nah! unless VAIN = BLUFFNESS, Yes one of my superhero powers is the power of ARROGANCE.

Week One

Didn't really get up to much to be honest but I did go out for my friends Joey birthday, which was really nice. For his birthday we did karaoke but instead of  going to some place in Chinatown. We went to a place near London Bridge.The place was called 'The Old School Yard'.  A cocktail and party bar with karaoke in their basement. The place was really cool. They an Nintendo 64 with four controls playing Mario kart, which was freaking awesome.

The cocktails were really nice and they severed pizza which were named after 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' characters.

Remember that old school cartoon? The place really has a retro theme style to it. Definitely a great chill out spot if you live nearby. 

Week Two

So this week I have been doing 30 minute runs in the morning and with a little added help from my pre-work out supplement. Amino Energy from Optimum Nutrition. Brought it for £32.99 and they had an buy 1 get one 1 free promotion from GNC. Awesome deal.

Been getting myself ready for my planned two month workout plan. The plan is to redo the Insanity workout in the morning for my cardio after a 10 minute jog on my cross-fit trainer. Then in the evenings do some body weight and weight isolated style workouts. 

Celebrated my BFF birthday as well during that week. Went to her house and had a nice BBQ. Had some mad jokes. I did take a few photos with my SLR but not many. l will wait till the other people at the party upload there's and make a link.

Three Blogs today and then finally back on track

Any one that has been following my post blogs have already noticed. I haven't been sticking to my word and posting enough (specially about my fitness stuff) and I have been leaving my minimum two post a week, too the end of the week.

Today is the last day. 

Now I will obviously be doing my blog post today. However the third is going to be done via my phone as I am going to my BFF house party. I am also making today my last day of drinking for the year, well i might make an assumption for Las Vegas and San Francisco. I will have to see about that.

I am such a energetic and positive person I don't need alcohol in my life. Plus if you read my post on Stress then you will understand that alcohol truly isn't your friend and will always be your enemy. 

Sorry Bud(wesier) are friendship has come to an end.

Something my other half said to me really made me smile and embrace my inner character. He called me on the phone and every time we answer each other there's so much energy and passion. Lords of shouting its crazy and it really makes my whole week and I know he's the same way. He said to me 'every time he speaks to me he feels so energized because of my positive and fun nature self. 

Just have to find myself a women that can see this in me. ¬_¬' I know a lot of my post I mention my other half and its always stated as a 'HE'. He's my bromance, meaning the best male, male friendship I have ever had in my lifetime so far.
